Dectus is a Brazilian identification platform for retail loyalty programs. It lets shoppers be recognized at checkout with a tap of their phone, without typing their CPF (Brazilian tax ID) or a phone number. Dectus is a product of GRAFITES SULAMERICANA LTDA., CNPJ 04.840.862/0001-83.

## The problem we solve

In Brazil, retail loyalty usually means the store's own discount club. To get the member price, customers have to identify themselves at checkout: they type their CPF, give a phone number or look for a code in an app. This repeats at every purchase and every store, stalls the line and exposes personal data at the counter. Meanwhile, Brazilians are already used to paying by tapping. Dectus uses that same gesture for identification.

## What Dectus provides

- **Dectus Pass:** a free loyalty credential for shoppers, stored in Apple Wallet (iPhone and Apple Watch) or Google Wallet (Android). The pass holds only a loyalty identifier, with no CPF or other personal data.
- **Dectus Point:** the NFC reader that sits on the counter. It connects via USB to the checkout computer, and reads the pass through the Apple Wallet VAS and Google Smart Tap protocols.
- **POS integration:** SDK and API so the retailer's checkout system receives the member code and only the data the customer authorized.

## What belongs to Dectus and what belongs to the retailer

Dectus identifies the customer. The retailer applies the benefit. Discount rules, points, coupons and payment stay in each store's own system. Dectus does not initiate, process or authorize payments.

## Privacy from the start

Shoppers register once and choose, store by store, what each one may receive. One store does not see what was shared with another, and consent can be changed or withdrawn at any time. Data processing follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and is described in our [Privacy Policy](https://www.dectus.com.br/en/privacy/).

## Where we are

The NFC program is in a controlled pilot phase in Brazil. Apple Wallet availability depends on Apple's approval and production integration testing. The list of partner retailers will be published on the site once available.
